Many breakthroughs in research can only be achieved through global collaboration and pooling of resources for the common good. One such example is the ENSAT-CANCER project which has a focus on adrenal tumours. These are (thankfully!) rare as the prognosis and outcome for patients is often poor. The project commenced in 2011 and now supports many hospitals and research communities from around the world: from Europe, to Asia, to the Americas. The project recently surpassed 100 hospitals around the world using the platform (actually #101)! There are over 30 major international clinical trials involving thousands of patients that are supported by this platform!
