As usual the Masters students did an amazing job in the 25pt dissertation projects. Some of the more interesting scenarios included car registration recognition through deep learning; cat recognition through deep learning; are people happier living near green space; identifying humanitarian actions in social media; exploring house prices in Victoria through open data; user data analytics around the IARPA SWARM platform; measuring the size and canopy of trees through machine learning; fake news mobile apps and my own personal favourite Where’s Wally automated detection… never need to look for him again! Great job peeps!
