The Cluster and Cloud Computing class of 2019 (all 365 of them!) were put into teams and challenged with coming up with the most original use of social media to support research into the 7-Deadly Sins and attempt to validate the scenarios using data from AURIN. Examples included greed and relationship with obesity and food; wrath and relationship with crime; sloth and sleeping patterns of Victorians – you get the gist! The most original scenario which won the prize was related to lust and dare I say, lustful content… the winning team (pictured) included Curtis Huang, Haonen Chen, Lihuan Zhang, Xu Wang and Yang Xu. Students were presented with gifts including UniMelb hoodies and teddies (their choice!)
Great job folks!
