Folk may have noticed that we had a bit of an outage with the website a week or so ago. This was caused by a range of factors – notably me being a noodle. We had the website hosted on the NeCTAR National Server Program and were asked to migrate all of our projects onto the NeCTAR Research Cloud. We did this with huge care for all of our major projects like ADDN, ENDIA, ENSAT etc etc but forgot about the eResearch website. We are back alive but alas a few of the other blog posts were not backed up and have been lost. I’ll do a summary of these posts in a couple of follow on updates. Needless to say, lessons have been learned and we have now Docker’ized the system with automatic back-ups in place.
