Excellent talks by PhD candidates Yang Lu and Sehrish Kanwal at the CIS Doctoral Symposium at the University of Melbourne. Yang did especially well in presenting a talk that was not her own work (never an easy task!) The talks were Digital Reproducibility of Computational Genomic Workflows (S. Kanwal); The Trade-Offs in Data Trustworthiness and Data Completeness in Clinical Research Registries (S. Gloeckner –  presented by Yang Lu) and Effective Preservation of Privacy During Record Linkage (Y. Lu).
