The IARPA funded SWARM project continues to evolve rapidly on many fronts. Most recent updates include a deployment of the platform to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and roll out of the test version of the iPhone mobile app. Arguably more importantly, the use of the platform and original concept underpinning crowd based reasoning is showing great promise. The crowds thus far have been generating answers to questions that improve on the expected (standard) answers. The SWARM project team are due to go to Washington in December to present updates on the work as a whole.
