PhD candidate Shuo Wang gave a talk at the University of Melbourne CIS Doctoral Colloquium on Privacy Protection of Large Scale Trajectories. This covered the big data infrastructure (Spark/HDFS + NeCTAR Cloud) as well as the mathematical foundations of privacy protection including differential privacy with specific focus on social media data such as Twitter.
