The eResearch Group presented three talks at the IEEE Data Science and Data Intensive Systems conference in Sydney in December. Big data was unsurprisingly the name of the game! The talks focused on Twitter analytics for health, Twitter analytics for road traffic analysis and a Cloud-based infrastructure for high volume, high velocity traffic data using Apache Spark and a range of other big data solutions.
