Prof Sinnott gave a webinar to the eResearch Community at the University of Otago in New Zealand on 13th November. This talk focused on “eResearch and Transforming the Biomedical Landscape across Australasia“. Specifically the talk covered the experiences in supporting national and international biomedical research through security-oriented, Cloud-based platforms. The major focus of the talk was type-1 diabetes and the Australasian Diabetes Data Network (ADDN) that integrates data from paediatric and adult diabetes centres across Australia and New Zealand with associated mobile apps for patients.
